🚍🔬 Eureka! What a Day! 🔬🚍
Yesterday, we had the most fantastic day out at Eureka! Science + Discovery in Wallasey! The adventure started before we even arrived, as we travelled through the famous Mersey Tunnel, which was very exciting and got everyone ready for the day ahead.
Once inside Eureka, we spent the day exploring the different interactive zones. We loved investigating the Nature Zone, discovering amazing facts in the Body Zone, and exploring everyday life in the Home Zone. There was so much to see, touch, build, test and explore that we hardly knew where to start!
As part of our visit, KS2 enjoyed an engaging and interactive show all about Habitats, where we learned how animals and plants survive in different environments. Meanwhile, KS1 took part in a fascinating workshop about our Senses, discovering how our bodies help us experience the world around us.
The children were a credit to the school throughout the day, showing curiosity, enthusiasm and excellent behaviour. We all came home tired but full of exciting new facts and memories from a brilliant day of learning and discovery!
